Safety

Luxliner boasts a fatality free record since its inception.

Safety is a core value of the organization and the fundamental driver of our management strategy. It’s our mission to provide mass passenger transport services to our clients that are high in quality, professionalism and cost effectiveness. Our comprehensive and documented fleet maintenance program includes regular pre-trip safety checks, regular brake tests, routine interval services and major annual services.

National dealership networks, together with Luxliner’s in-house technical teams are constantly on standby to provide maintenance and assistance in the event of an emergency.

Our neat and uniformed drivers are carefully selected. Luxliner runs its own in-house driver training programme known as the Centre for Driver Development, which has been accredited by TETA (Transport Education and Training Authority) to provide SAQA accredited training. It is compulsory for all drivers to attend training prior to employment, and refresher courses are conducted every 3 months for existing drivers.

All buses are equipped with Cartrack satellite tracking devices that enables our buses and drivers to be constantly monitored.

Luxliner buses are all marked with a highly visible Drive Report sticker which displays the telephone number 0860 555 999 that can be phoned by the public should they witness poor driving or traffic violations by any of our drivers.

Luxliner management and consultants are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to cover any after hour emergencies. Our objective at Luxliner is to provide unparalleled service excellence.
